There is some interest (I could even call it demand!) for a christmas party. And so, I announce, the inaugural Edinburgh Writers' christmas party......... round at mine....which is in Bruntsfield(address later...maybe as a series of clues...).

I'll get stuff to do homemade pizza creation or something like that.

Please RSVP VERY QUICKLY so I can gauge interest. If you are interested, but the date doesn't work, then tell us and I'll maybe switch dates.

No need to bring pizza - I will prepare various pizza ingredients (inculding fresh dough and sauce) and you can all fight over who can make the best one... Steve - popcorn good! or mince pies???? Flat is currently rather unfestive so I'll have to sort that...

    •  Awesome!
    •  A first! 'Good pizzas and popcorn, not hung over today. Even managed a round of 'Consequences'..... obviously our creative moments were somewhat manipulated by ethyl alcohol....at least the lighting, warmth, leather sofa qualities were far, far better than our usual Tuesday venue.... Charlie, Colin and Steve's 3kW wit just about burned the pages of our party creations, so much so that our tears of mirth (okay, okay, Dave's spilt water... he was driving yours truly home ....) had to be dried off the pages on one of the radiators!!! So, all in all, a blurry night in every sense of the adjective..... and even lost our car because of the thick fog outside....!!!! Can this be a new political movement? The Christmas Party........
