I can donate an old piano on which to display all your tablets and I can also bring along a marker with which to sign "Moses" on the body of that grandest of instruments..... of torture?...... Perhaps, and especially, if the cold airs of the Waverley are likely to have played havoc with the tuning of the one there! I will ask Steve to bring some extra ear muffs just in case we need to preserve my hearing, as well as body heat....... maybe there is a trope developing.... to message board pliz.

I haven't slept for sixteen months. Would you like my autograph? I'm having an exhibition of all my tablets, in a big pile.

Ah but in autography, it is very easy to write 6 autographs every day before breakfast!! I am not taken in easily by hard sell........... especially when pianos are mentioned! I did suspect Lithium somewhere in the atmosphere tonight....

    Sorry, can't this week.

Who attended?

  • 10 attendees
    •  Lots of good stuff!
    •  This week was fun -- some funny (and very unfunny) writing, a poem about writing, some writing about writing, and Bill's French writer on, well, tropes! And Tracy who showed up out of nowhere to announce that she wrote six impossible novels every day before breakfast in lieu of sleep, and would like to introduce us all to the art of Autography! Good notes on rhythm, pace, and atmosphere, and the indefinability of comic timing and charisma.
    •  As usual we had a wide variety of offerings and there was something to suit every palate, except mebbe nursery fiction and theology............. poetic metre was even mentioned..... as was the inevitable trope..... and thanks for Thought Fox.... I remember doing that one at school!!!!
